Expedition
Objective
An Expedition is a virtual trip from Attainment City to BlueGreen Island to accomplish a mission related to global sustainability. During that time, you’ll earn money for college, attain credentials for admission, and win awards for your skills
Squads & Members
An Expedition is composed of 4 Squads each representing one High School grade: Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. These Squads collaborate with each other to achieve the goals of the Expedition.
All 4 Squads of the Expedition are composed of 6 Students (of the same grade) and they will represent their High School, so all 24 students in the Expedition must attend the same High School.
Metaverse Locations
You spend time preparing and provisioning in Attainment City, a place where you’ll make all sorts of new friends, and then your Expedition will launch to fulfill its goal in BluGreen Island.

Competition
You can also participate in competitions against other schools, for additional Money for College, Credentials for Admission, and Awards for your Skills! You’ll represent your school, in the same way sports teams do it! Bring it on and cheer!
Academic Term Timeline
Each academic term is divided in three periods, starting with Pre-Kickoff, when all settings of the student experience are configured. Then comes Term Long Prep & Provisioning, where 12 weeks bring 12 Job Sims, one per week. Job Sims are scaffolded simulations of the official Jobs required to complete the full fledged Challenge during the End-of-Term Public Event. Third is the End-of-Term Public Event, when Students spend two weeks solving the official 12 Jobs of the Challenge in real time, while earning money for college tuition. . At the very end, we have the Awards Ceremony.
